Sunrise of Richmond Hill

My mother has lived at Sunrise for just over a year now. It was a difficult time in her life and health journey and our family needed to know she would be well cared for. Sunrise has provided that care, attention and stability she needed in a lovely home. The home is well designed and its design also provides for her social and mental wellbeing. The staff team is excellent. There are alot of activity options daily. Overall, a great option for home and care in these uncertain and challenging times.

I had an excellent experience dealing with Renee and Lalita when I was looking for a retirement home for my mother. During the tour Renee was very helpful in providing us with all the information about their facilities. From the tour, I can tell the residents were happy and well taken care of. From dealing with both Renee and Lalita, it is obvious they both are passionate about what they do and they really care about the well being of the residents.

My mom has found a wonderful place at Sunrise of Richmond Hill. The support from the staff and the friendly community around her brings such comfort and joy to us both. Knowing she’s surrounded by kind and caring individuals—whether it’s the PSWs, nurses, kitchen staff, or other residents—is truly heartwarming. It’s a blessing to see her happy and well taken care of in her new home.

My father was just discharged after staying at the Bayshore TCU at Sunrise of Richmond Hill for 8 weeks. The managers, Alon and Finda, nurses and PSWs were outstanding with the compassion and clinical care they provided my father. Their professionalism and commitment to looking after my father provided me the priceless peace of mind I needed as we navigated this stressful time. Thank you to Janet, Rosann, Benilyn, Bernard, Rajeeta, Prab, Justin, Alon, Finda, and all the staff! If you are considering Sunrise for your family member, know that they will be treated with such care and compassion and welcomed with open arms.

Very welcoming retirement community that has a high level of care and sanitary environment. Communication is excellent amongst staff and creates a comforting peace of mind.

My family number has been living here for a month, and I come every day to be with her. I truly love the environment, the food, and the wonderful staff. Everyone here is filled with love, responsibility, and kindness. I’ve been telling all my friends that this place is the ideal home for our future retirement. It really feels like a warm and caring community.
