Sunrise of Mississauga is a warm and welcoming place. The staff are caring, professional, and always attentive to residents' needs. It truly feels like a second home, and I’m impressed by the respect and compassion shown every day.

The staff at Sunrise were fantastic to work with and were able to help my mom transition from independent to assisted living. This process had several challenges and their experience and support made a big difference in achieving a successful outcome. They really care about the residents and frequently go over and above, they also do a great job with family members and provide good medical supervision. There is a wide range of community activities and an overall positive vibe to the residence. The cost though is high relative to the quality of the rooms (dated & somewhat dark) and the limitations for making safety adaptations (ex. in my Mom's bathroom we were unable to install a safety bar beside the toilet due to the steel framing under the drywall). At this price point I would expect a certain quality of the environment to match the quality of the care.
